Locally owned and operated by longtime New Braunfels residents, The Casitas at Gruene were designed to create a comfortable, inviting stay in the heart of Gruene. Each Casita includes a coffee bar, wine glasses, fresh linens, and all the essentials for a memorable Texas Hill Country getaway.
Each Casita features a thoughtfully designed one-bedroom layout with a living room, bathroom, and kitchenette. Sleeping arrangements vary by casita, accommodating 2–6 guests.

Make the most of your stay with private access to the Guadalupe River—perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking right from our riverfront. Unlike most, we provide paddle boards, kayaks, and tubes free of charge for our guests! For tubers, we recommend Rockin' R River Rides for a hassle-free experience and shuttle back to Gruene at the end of your float.
Even in the cooler months, the river offers a peaceful escape, with thousands of rainbow trout released each winter, making it a favorite destination for fishing and year-round recreation in New Braunfels.
Each Casita features one bedroom, a separate living room, kitchenette, and a private bath with a walk-in shower. Amenities include Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and luxury linens and bath towels for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette comes equipped with a coffee maker and complimentary pods, microwave, mini fridge, sink, and basic utensils—everything you need for a relaxing getaway on the Guadalupe River.
Guests share access to cozy fire pits, BBQ grills, an ice machine, and access to our private riverfront, perfect for swimming, floating, or unwinding by the water. Plus, we provide paddle boards, kayaks, and tubes at no extra cost!

We stayed 2 nights at the Coastal Casita. The room was so comfortable and spotless. We were in town to attend a show at Gruene Hall. This property is truly a 5 minute walk to Gruene historic district and Gruene Hall. We plan to attend other shows at Gruene Hall in the near future and will definitely stay at The Casitas At Gruene.
